Drexel University’s LeBow College of Business Plans November Event in Philadelphia

Wolfe Miller, with the inaugural lifetime achievement award at their “Overcoming Barriers” event at the Pyramid Club in Philadelphia.  The Henderson Institute’s Lifetime Achievement Award recognizes an individual who has not only achieved 25+ years of success in the real estate industry but over-come significant barriers while obtaining industry success. In addition, recipients are considered for criteria based on their contribution to the industry and commitment to helping others overcome barriers.

The invitation-only event will feature keynote remarks presented by Ms. Wolfe Miller as well as a panel of Philadelphia-area commercial real estate experts. Participants will include representatives from the Henderson Institute Advisory Board as well as other Drexel University community members. The Goldie Initiative will be represented by Ms. Wolfe Miller and CEO Megan Abraham, Philadelphia-area real estate students and other industry professionals.

The Goldie B. Wolfe Miller Women Leaders in Real Estate Initiative (‘The Goldie Initiative®”), a nonprofit organization that prepares women to advance as leaders in commercial real estate by providing financial and professional support, has partnered with Drexel University as part of its recent expansion into the Northeast United States. With a unique strategy of scholarship, mentoring, networking and skills development, The Goldie Initiative cultivates talented women into future leaders. The program supports women pursuing graduate-level studies in business, law, design, or management with a focus on real estate. Nearly 40 Goldie Scholars are currently studying in real estate-related programs at nearly 20 universities nationwide, including many located in the Northeast. The organization was founded by Ms. Wolfe Miller, who remains actively involved.
