The Goldie Initiative Expands National Mentor Network with 44 Executive Leaders Supporting Women in CRE
This year’s mentors represent key markets across the U.S. and provide personalized, high-quality guidance through The Goldie Initiative’s industry-leading mentor match process.

CHICAGO, IL – November 24, 2025 – The Goldie B. Wolfe Miller Women Leaders in Real Estate Initiative (“The Goldie Initiative”), a nonprofit organization dedicated to preparing women to advance as leaders in commercial real estate through financial and professional support, announced today its 44 volunteer mentors for the 2025–26 program year. The Goldie Initiative supplements graduate degree curriculum with practical, hands-on training and experience that includes an executive mentor program. The program matches each Goldie Scholar® with a seasoned real estate professional who is committed to providing guidance for the personal and professional growth of his/her mentee.

This year, The Goldie Initiative’s staff and volunteers recruited 20 new mentors to the program from CRE sub-industries including Investor Relations/Management, Affordable Development, Luxury Retail, Investment Banking, Real Estate Private Equity and more. These new mentors are mostly from the organization’s expansion cities of New York, Boston, and Washington D.C., ensuring that Goldie Scholars across the country have access to mentors who are local to them and familiar with their regional markets.

This year’s group also includes five Goldie Alumnae who have returned to volunteer as mentors. The Goldie Initiative is proud to have Alumnae mentors who serve as visible examples of long-term career impact and desire to give back to the organization.

To ensure each Scholar receives highly tailored support, The Goldie Initiative uses a thoughtful, collaborative matching process. Scholars complete a detailed survey outlining their mentorship goals, career interests, dream companies, preferred sectors, and more. The Goldie Initiative’s staff and Mentor Match Task Force, comprised of Christine Kolb, Shelley Xu, Janay Hull, Allie Leterman, and Mayra Maisch, review these responses and identify, recruit, and confirm mentors whose experience aligns closely with each Scholar’s aspirations. This intentional approach consistently leads to strong positive feedback from Goldie Scholars each year.

The 44 mentors for the 2025–26 program year represent leading organizations across the commercial real estate landscape, including BGO, Cushman & Wakefield, Farpoint Development, Golub & Company, Heitman, Hines, JPMorgan Chase & Co., Logistics Property Company, Luxury Living, Merchants Capital, Pearlmark, PGIM Real Estate, Siegel Jennings Co. L.P.A., and more.

Each year, The Goldie Initiative deepens its mentor resource pool, which is made up of high-potential senior leaders who may be the perfect match for a future Goldie Scholar. This high-impact group is also available for one-off networking connections through The Goldie Initiative’s exclusive networking platform, Goldie Connect. If you are interested in joining the mentor resource pool for potential future mentee matches or participating in Goldie Connect to meet with a wide range of young women leaders, complete this interest form.
